SSC CHSL Syllabus 2016

SSC CHSL Syllabus 2016 has been released by Staff Selection Commission for those aspirants who are preparing for SSC CHSL 2016 Exam for the post of DEO, LDC/UDC. Candidates can download the CHSL Exam Pattern in PDF Format from here.

SSC conducts Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam every year for filling up various posts of Data Entry Operator, Lower Division Clerk/ Upper Division Clerk in government departments.

  • Visually Handicapped & Cerebral Palsy candidate will get additional time of 40 minutes for completing the exam.
  • The paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions and will be set in both English/Hindi language for part I, III & IV
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Geometry

Knowledge with elementary geometric figures and facts:

Triangle and its various kinds of centres viz. Centroid, In-centre, Orthocenter, Circumcentre

Congruence and similarity of triangles

Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles.

Mensuration

  • Triangle, Quadrilaterals
  • Regular Polygons (sum of the internal angles of a polygon)
  • Circle
  • Right Prism
  • Right Circular Cone
  • Right Circular Cylinder
